PAD BUILDER
Responsibilities
-
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company/client HSE policies and practices, as well as Provincial and Federal legislation and regulations;

Complete documentation:
-
All necessary documentation prior / post deployment (including on internal DATS system);
-
Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA);
-
Timesheet reporting.

Assist with conducting Pre / Post Pad inspections and upload to DATS if required;
-
Assist with site inspections, as requested;
-
Provide/support incident reporting when necessary;
-
Adhere to operational / safety changes when requested to do so;
-
Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture among all team members;

Promote environmental protection by following company/client policies and practices and by adhering to statutory legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
-
Formal / on job training in construction (e.g., carpentry);
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction with a focus on drill / helicopter pad / remote equipment operating in the exploration/mining sector;
-
Ability to work on remote construction projects and within a small crew;
-
Understanding of construction and mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations;
-
OFA Level 1;
-
Transportation endorsement;
-
Possession of relevant technical tickets (e.g., helicopter slinging, chain saw, equipment operation);
-
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote sites as required;
-
Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills in English.
